ProxyForge (proxyforge.tech) provides a free browser-based tool for generating Nginx and Apache server configuration files. This page explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

The tool itself collects nothing

Every config you generate is built entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you type — domain names, backend addresses, or any other field — is ever sent to, or stored on, our servers. Closing the tab clears everything.

Cookies and advertising

This site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies via the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless, to understand overall traffic to the site, such as how many people visit and which pages are popular. This does not identify you personally.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site — for example, to hosting providers — are affiliate links. If you sign up through one of these links, we may earn a commission, at no additional cost to you. We only link to services relevant to deploying the configs this tool generates, and our recommendations aren't influenced by commission size.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
